Hi, I'm in high school, and I have liked this girl for a long time. We have had a couple classes together since freshman year, but we never really got to be great friends. So, I was suprised when she asked me for a ride back to our school from a track meet at another school, so she would ride out with one of her friends and ride back to our school with me where she would get in her car and drive home. She claims she did this because she doesn't like to drive, and got a ticket before and doesn't want to get another one. When another guy (better looking than me) offered her a ride she said she was riding with me. This became a regular thing, with me giving her rides home from the rest of the meets. Spring track has yet to start, but with the meets being closer to our school I don't know if she will continue to want rides. We talked while she was in the car, but it didn't get really serious because my friend was in the car too. The asking for rides looks like a good sign, but in our classes we have together and in the halls she doesn't even say hi to me, same with at practice. I lent my book to another girl though, and the girl I like managed to get her hands on it and wrote "dear____, You're cool. Love ____" and returned to to me at lunch (she knew where my lunch table was even though she eats out in the hall). I am a quiet guy, not all that experienced with girls, but I don't know what to make of this, does she like me? Does she want to be friends? Was she just bumming rides off me? Please help.

There is no way to tell from that, it could be either one, maybe she's interested maybe she just thinks your nice and quite and would make a good friend. Just start flirting with her and see what happens
