Later this week, dad is meeting a foreign friend he used to chat in facebook for months. This is his first date after my mom s death five months ago. I have nothing against it. After all, my dad deserves to be happy. Just so you know, I m a supportive son! But just yesterday, dad asked for a favor. He wanted me to join him for his date. In other words, he wants me to be a chaperone! I m not sure yet of going with him, so I told him I ll think about it first. All I want is for him to focus for that night without my presence.
