There's this girl that lives in my building. I see her sometimes and when we cross paths, we just smile at eachother. Recently, at a football, she said hi, then another time, after i held the door for her, she said thank you, then leaving the elevator she said bye. I wanna approach her, but whenever i see her, there are people around, like in the lobby or elevator or she is w/ one of her roomates....how do i go about this w/out weirding her out?

Just start a general conversation. Don't ask her on a date right away, just smile make a joke and walk away
